Welcome to Sumner Danbury!

HARVEST FESTIVAL this Friday, Oct. 20!

Don't miss out on one of the most exciting and fun events of the year! Come out to the Harvest Festival on October 20 from 4-8pm. There will be food, games, music, booths, raffles, "Trunk or Treat" and more! There are also still opportunities to volunteer if you want to help! 

 

You can still donate to the grade-level raffle baskets:

TK - 2nd Grade: Fall-themed items

3rd and 4th Grades: Winter-themed items

5th and 6th Grades: Bags of individually wrapped candies

We also need more baked goods for the Cake Walk (if homemade, please include list of ingredients).

If you are able to help or can provide tables or EZ-Ups for the school to borrow for the night, please visit the SignUp Genius event: Harvest Festival 2017.

BOOK FAIR this Week!

Our Scholastic Book Fair is open this week, October 16 - 20. The hours of the Book Fair are:

Monday: 7:30 am to 3 pm

Tuesday: 7:30 am to 3 pm

Wednesday: 7:30 am to 8 am, 9:30 am to 10:30 am and after school until 1:30 pm

Thursday: 7:30 am to 8 am, 9:30 am to 10:30 am and after school until 3 pm

Friday: 7:30 am to 8 am and 9:30 am to 10:30 am

The Book Fair will also be open during the Harvest Festival for your convenience.

Annual Prius Raffle is Almost Here!

Watch for upcoming news about the Prius Raffle. We will have tickets on sale at school in the coming weeks! The Prius raffle is sponsored by Claremont Education Foundation (CEF) which is a local organization that donates approximately $200,000 to our district to support art, music, and technology! This annual raffle  is one of the events that allows CEF to so generously support these programs at our schools.  To see the flyer for more information click here.
